Testing tool Login VSI fully integrated into RES Software’s quality & assurance process.

San Francisco, May 15 2012 – Login Consultants, the vendor of Login VSI, the de-facto industry standard benchmarking tool for Server Based Computing (SBC) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDI), announced today that RES Software is the first IT vendor to receive the ‘Tested with Login VSI’ award in recognition of their proven commitment towards testing and securing the performance and scalability of their flagship solution, RES Workspace Manager.

Amsterdam, March 29, 2012 - Login Consultants today announced the new Client Side Performance Testing module for Login VSI, the industry standard benchmarking tool for SBC and VDI environments. This new module allows performance testers to objectively measure and analyze the performance of remoting protocols such as VMware PCoIP, Citrix ICA/HDX, Microsoft RDP, Quest EOP and others.

Frank Anderson performed protocol tests to compare Citrix XenDesktop 5.5 (HDX) with VMware View 5 (PCoIP) and used Login VSI to generate a medium user workload. Both LAN and WAN scenarios were tested by measuring the bandwidth consumption and frame rate statistics.
