VDI capacity testing now less complex and up to 100.000 users.

Amsterdam, December 15, 2010 - Login Consultants releases Login VSI 3.0; the latest version of their testing and benchmarking tool for virtualized desktop infrastructures. Already Login VSI is seen as the industry standard by major players in the desktop virtualization market, including Cisco, Citrix, HP, Intel and Microsoft. Login VSI is now available.

When developing Login VSI 3.0 the focus was put on scalability and user-friendliness. Login VSI 3.0 is now suitable for testing the capacity of a single server, and for large (extensive) testing. The latest release of Login Virtual Session Indexer (VSI) makes it possible to simulate tests for up to 100,000 users. The new, better organized interface allows all workloads and tests to be configured and initiated from one place.

The new indexing method VSImax in Login VSI 3.0 is optimized for VDI performance analysis and makes storage-related bottlenecks transparent. The completely new VSI-analysis tool allows you to make a detailed analysis of the VSI results.

"Performance is still the main bottleneck for VDI and SBC projects. Testing performance is typically complex and expensive, so companies tend to leave it for what it is, "said Jeroen van de Kamp, CTO and co-initiator of Login Consultants Project VRC. "The ease of Login VSI 3.0 and the increased scalability of the tool, help companies to look past that argument".
