The Login VSI - VDI Performance Summit
This week was a special one, for the history of Login VSI, as it was the week we held our first ever industry-event: The VDI Performance Summit in Amsterdam, and it was a great success, but more about that later.
This event showed us that performance in EUC environments is not taken for granted and people are actively looking for information on this topic.
To build content for this event we (Team VDI Like a Pro) created a compact version of the annual VDI Like a Pro State of EUC survey specifically focused around Performance and asked the community to participate. As we’ve come to get used to in this community there have been plenty of responses.
With responses from 27 countries and over 230 participants we’re proud to present you the report with aggregated responses. As it turns out one of the biggest challenges are poorly performing applications, and complaints by users about application performance. If you’re interested in the other datapoints download the full report and see what your peers think about:
- Performance tuning your environment
- DaaS/VDI workloads on the Public Cloud
- What the most common source of performance problems are
- Time spent on performance problems every month
- And more...
There you have it the first EUC performance survey report. We’re constantly sending updates and locations where we are presenting this data while the full report is available. Make sure to follow @vdilikeapro on twitter to get the latest!
