Login PI SLA Reporting
This section lets you generate reports from the historical data gathered by Login PI during its operational processes. These reports are ideal for reporting on any service level agreements, as well as helping you understand how your infrastructure is performing over time. To access the SLA report generator, hover the mouse cursor over Report in the top menu bar and select SLA Reporting.
Once inside the Reporting section, simply define the relevant criteria that you want to include in your report from the following categories: Time-frame / Profiles / Applications
You can use this generator to create reports per day or per month. For ease of use there are quick selections available: Today / Yesterday / This month / Last month
Alternatively, you can use the date selectors to choose a historical day or month. Simply click the dropdown arrow to open the date selector.
Important: If you want to generate reports from large amounts of historical data, please be aware that it can take a while for the system to calculate these statistics. You can see how long the calculation process will take by clicking the Notification icon, located on the right-hand side in the top menu bar.
Note: When you select a date, the system will tell you how many days are left to calculate. This refers to how many days are left to process, not how long it will take to generate the report.
Simply mark the checkbox next to the profile(s) that you want to include in your report (you can select more than one).
You can also select/de-select all the profiles at once by clicking the All/None button (located above the checkboxes).
Note: We recommend using fixed application threshold values for reporting purposes. You can still generate reports for a profile that has Auto thresholds configured, but if you do, you will see the following message: This profile has Auto thresholds configured. We strongly recommend fixed thresholds values.
Simply mark the checkbox next to the application(s) that you want to include in your report (you can select more than one).
You can also select/de-select all the applications at once by clicking the All/None button (located above the checkboxes).
Once you have selected the time-frame, profile(s) and application(s), click the Generate Report button. The report will then open in a new tab.
Each report shows the successful percentage of attempts/measurements alongside the respective graphs for the following topics:
- Login success
- Login performance
- Application performance
- Latency success
These reports also show trends compared to the previous day/month, so you can alert IT to something that might become a performance issue sooner rather than later. You can also save the report in PDF format by clicking the Save As PDF button, located in the top right-hand side. See the example below:
