Hello,

There is no known bug that makes applications crash. A few questions regarding the crashes:
1. Are you able to reproduce this issue?
2. Under how much load was your system at the time? How many VSI sessions were active for example.

Problem Event Name: BEX indicates these crashes are related caused by Data Execution Prevention (DEP)

yes,I found this issue in every test, the load is heavy or medium, more than 10 sessions in
the first launcher are crashed, other launcher is less, about 5 sessions.(the total of sessions is 150)
But I think I've found the solution:

for word/excel crash:
1.Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
2.On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
3.On the Data Execution Prevention tab,
4.Make sure The option "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" is selected
Example: Add: c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\excel.exe
Add all exe files for Outlook, word and excel.

for ie 8 crash:
1. Click start and type gpedit.msc on search bar or on RUN command
2. Now navigate to
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Internet Communication Management, and then click Internet Communication settings
Locate Turn off Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program, double click or right click edit.
4. Click on Enable. Apply and Ok and close gpedit window.

What our customers are saying

Michael Cooper - Citrix

"We use Login VSI as a level set. If we are looking at a system that we are putting on brand new hardware or that we are putting in the cloud, we may see those environments completely differently but the end result is: is the user going to have a good solid happy user experience? And what Login VSI provides us on all three platforms is fairly consistent apples-to-apples comparison: is the user happy?"

Michael Cooper, Director of Solutions Architecture and Global Alliances at Citrix Systems

Chris Gebhardt - NetApp

“We use Login VSI to make sure that what we are recommending to our customers is much better than what their guesses are. Because if you don't do proper assessment and if you don’t use Login VSI, your architecture is just a guess.”

Chris Gebhardt, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at NetApp

Nick Couper - Bet365

"LoginVSI is an essential tool for our company which enables us to load test our virtual desktop environment so that we can capacity plan with confidence. We would struggle to benchmark our systems without it."
