CSV files not being picked up

Hi there,

New to loginvsi, I am trying to get it to connect to our vmware view installation to benchmark which works fine unless I want it to use a csv file. It just seems to ignore the file and the command line parameters get sent across empty.

So in the csv file I have

Workstation,User,Domain,Password
XP,Login_VSI1,durrants,password
XP,Login_VSI2,durrants,password
XP,Login_VSI3,durrants,password
XP,Login_VSI4,durrants,password
XP,Login_VSI5,durrants,password

In the command line parameter I have

"c:\program files\VMware\VMWare View\Client\bin\wswc.exe" -serverURL %CSV_ServerURL% -username fu_VSI -password %CSV_Password% -domainname MyDomain -desktopname %CSV_DesktopName% -Standalone -logInAsCurrentUser False -connectUSBOnStartup False

I thought that the -username fu_VSI might be incorrect so I tried %CSV_Username% without success.

any ideas?

Thanks

Dan

never mind, it is %CSV_User% not %CSV_Username%

For anyone else having trouble understanding how the CSV files work have a look at this forum post:
www.loginvsi.com/forum/support/278-sprea...ers-across-pools#279

In short, VSI reads the titles specified in the CSV file and makes variables out of them using the following template: %CSV_TitleName%
