Hello,

Login VSI will keep performing test loops until the amount of users specified in the management console have been logged on. This has been done for the following reason. In most situations users will logon over a certain period of time, by default at 30 seconds intervals. Taking into account an approximate runtime of a single test loop of 15 minutes this would mean user 1 would be logging off by the time user 30 would be logging in. On environments that can handle more then 30 users this would mean the environment would never be stressed.

Therefor, to keep building load Login VSI will keep looping tests within a session until the specified number of users are logged on.

Perhaps it would be useful if you attended the free online training on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM CET. During this compact training you will learn how to install and configure Login VSI and how to set up and perform your first test. You can register here: link no longer active

Have all the sessions successfully logged on and have started the test? If so, check for a file in your VSI share named Logoff.txt. This file will indicate that clients can start logging off.

Can you upload the launcher.log file here? You can find the launcher.log file in %temp%\vsi\launcher.log

Judging from the data in the log file there should be a logoff.txt file at VSIShare\_VSI_Logfiles\<activetest>\Logoff.txt.

You mention that the activetest file cannot be removed by the launcher. Can you verify that the user running the launcher has at least MODIFY access to the VSI share on both share and NTFS level?
