All sessions got stuck at "fax setup". It asks me to choose a fax modem or server. I already removed all printers on launch servers.
I am using VDI-in-a-Box.

Hello,

This is likely caused by printer redirection still being active. In this case a default fax created by Windows is being redirected. There are two options to resolve this:
1. Disable printer redirection in your target platform, in this case XenDesktop.
2. Removing all printers (including the default fax device) from the launcher. The printer redirection feature of your target platform cannot redirect printers if there are no printers to redirect.

Dennis,
I fixed the problem by disabling "printer spooler" service. Thanks for your advice.

What our customers are saying

Chris Gebhardt - NetApp

“We use Login VSI to make sure that what we are recommending to our customers is much better than what their guesses are. Because if you don't do proper assessment and if you don’t use Login VSI, your architecture is just a guess.”

Chris Gebhardt, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at NetApp

Randy Groves - Teradici

"As the developer of the PCoIP protocol, we do a lot of our own internal benchmarking to make sure that we’re continuing to improve our protocol. But we can’t actually publish our internal benchmarks because everybody might think that the tests are biased. So when we want to publish results, we use Login VSI. That way, if a customer wants to repeat our results they can.”

Randy Groves, CTO at Teradici

Keith Hageman - Micron

"When I joined Micron in June 2014, the first thing I did is find out if we have a copy of Login VSI and if we could run a 1000 user test case instance (which we could). We use Login VSI to run tests for customers and for case studies and I really have loved Login VSI for the last 3 or 4 years.”
