Launcher Agent

Currently I have 5 win2k8 servers acting as launchers. When I want to start a test I currently have to logon to each launcher then the agent starts. I would like to not have to logon to each launcher machine. Is there a way to set this up so that the tests does this. I have selected the checkbox Auto Start Launcher, but this does not seem to work.

Thanks.

Hello Adams,

I suggest to use the Sysinternals AutoLogon tool from MS which can be downloaded here . Run as Administrator and provide the user which the Launcher is installed on. Why the user that installed the Launcher? Because the installation will create a shortcut of The Launcher Agent in the Startup folder of windows:

For an individual user:
C:\users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

For all users:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Via this way you can reboot the systems after each run, which will make them up/running without having them manually prepared or standby for each test if you don’t use them.

Let me know if this works out or if you need help.

Regards,

Omar

You can use the regedit to change the value.
