merrist created the topic: Is the test finished?
Test environment:
VMware View 5.1.1
LoginVSI 3.7
Test setting:
1000 Sessions
20 Launchers
Parallel Launcher type
500 seconds Timeframe
Core workload type
Question:
I found that it was fail to connect the test virtual desktop, when I checked the launchers one by one. The fail windows :
It just didn't connect the virtual desktop and asked you to click the "Try Again". The windows information is "The assigned desktop source for this desktop is not currently available. Please try connecting to this desktop again later, or contact your system administrator"

There are about ten fail windows. In the VSI Management Console the "start test" is a finish status.

Hi Merrist,

That depends a bit. If the VSI MMC states the finish status it can be that there are still sessions running the loop. The MMC actually tells us that the x-amount of test sessions where successfully launched.

"The assigned desktop source for this desktop is not currently available. Please try connecting to this desktop again later, or contact your system administrator"
That is something on the vmware view environment end and is _not_ something VSI has influences on.
(maybe your timeframe for connecting all the sessions is going to fast and the broker (connection server) can't handle it)

Omar

Hi Merrist,

The VSI MMC tells you that;

The (successfully) Launched sessions are: 1000 and that the
Launched sessions successfully became an Active VSI session, which is also: 1000.

(Launched sessions and Launched sessions that became an active test (session))

What are the results on VSImax?

Omar
