ReneB created the topic: Using Automated Analysis for getting VSIMax without GUI possible?
VSI Version:3.7
Test system: Microsoft RDS
Operating system version target: Server2008R2 x64
Operating system version launcher(s):Server2003R2 x86
Office version target: Office 2010
Host (Management Console) and DC:Windows 2012

Because we are in the process of completely automating our Login VSI tests, I also wan't to use this functionality (see: www.loginvsi.com/documentation/v3/analyz...s/automated-analysis for more info).
Now I have a problem with that:
If I run this from a commandline it works, but if I try to run it using our AM tool (under the system account), it is not finishing. My guess is that this happens because of the GUI that is shown during the calculating.
Did anyone run into the same problem and found a solution for this, or do I have to file a feature request for removing the GUI (which is not normal for unattended use)?

Kind regards,
René Brands

Hi Rene,

Your guess is right, it is caused by the GUI that shows. This will not be resolved for version 3.7 of Login VSI (as development has been frozen) but it is a pending task for version 4.0.

Mark

Hello Mark,

Thanks for the fast reply.
It looks like next week we are going to convert to v4.0 (mainly because of the indexed login times). So it would be great if you could provide me with a new version of the analyser when this is ready (or perhaps a beta ;o).

Kind regards,
René

Hello Mark,

From the releasenotes it looks like this is still not solved in patch 4.02.
Can you give me an indication, when we can expect the solution for this?

Regards,
René
