Problem reaching VSImax

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if someone can help me with an issue calculating VSImax on a server.

I am using LoginVSI 3.6 with a MediumNoFlash workload on a PVS image running 2008 R2 and XenApp 6.5. Auto log off is set to 600 seconds. I am using 3 launchers, for each session, a user is logged on every 30 seconds on the host. There are 8 XenApp VMs running on the host sized according to Citrix virtualisation best practices on VMware ESXi 5.

If I run a 150 user test VSImax is not reached. If I run a 200 user test VSImax is reported as 115 (uncorrected 162). I normally never get uncorrected score differences so I am assuming this is because there were too many sessions launched.

I can see CPU hit 100% around the 110 user mark so the 115 score looks accurate, but what I don't understand then is how VSImax is not reached with a 150 user test.

It looks like the failed sessions are being caused by the Adobe Reader X issue.

I am applying the patch and updating the application name as per this post and will re-run the test.

Hopefully I will hit VSImax then...
