I am running Login VSI 3.0 update 4 on multiple VMs (around 80).

I am seeing test getting stuck on many VMs showing following message

TimerDocument.doc is locked for editing by 'login vsi'

Please find attached screen shot for error.

Can you please tell me the workaround of this issue.

What version of office are you running? I ask this cause i suspect Word is not being closed (correctly). If you use a office version other then 2007 it needs to be configured in the management console under Workloak Configuration > Office Version.

Jamie Vernon - STARTEK

"Login PI enables us to minimize system downtime and deliver strategic business value like never before."

Jamie Vernon, VP of IT and infrastructure at STARTEK

Andrew Mills - Nutanix

“Predictability is a key piece to VDI. It’s one of reasons that VDI has scared people away, but Login VSI solves that. If you’re going to do it, do it right. Login VSI really gives that rubber stamp on doing it right.”

Andrew Mills, VDI Alliances Manager at Nutanix

Keith Hageman - Micron

"When I joined Micron in June 2014, the first thing I did is find out if we have a copy of Login VSI and if we could run a 1000 user test case instance (which we could). We use Login VSI to run tests for customers and for case studies and I really have loved Login VSI for the last 3 or 4 years.”
