Luis N. created the topic: username and password are not read from CSV file
Hello,

So far I've been able to test one machine and a single user without a CSV file, but since I'm testing a VDI environment I thought I use a CSV file to open RDP connections to all machines I need to test. When I run the test with the CSV file the remote desktop connection client pops up in the launcher machine but does not connect because "the credentials are incorrect".
I've used two formats of the CVS file to try and make this work without success.
First format:
username,password,IP
Second format:
domain\username,password,IP

I added the CSV file with both examples.

Issue have been resolved.

For those who stumble upon this thread, the issue was that because the CSV file is case sensitive, the management console could not read the proper information to log into the user account. In the management console, it was looking for "resources" whereas the CSV file had "Resources" input in.

What our customers are saying

Michael Mainusch - Dachser

“With Login VSI, we can simulate the effects and compatibilities of applications and patches, as well as scaling in a virtualized terminal server environment, with minimal expenditure of time. Due to the adaptability of Login VSI to individual customer environments, we can simulate the real production environment, using the achieved measurement results and assertions.”

Randy Groves - Teradici

"As the developer of the PCoIP protocol, we do a lot of our own internal benchmarking to make sure that we’re continuing to improve our protocol. But we can’t actually publish our internal benchmarks because everybody might think that the tests are biased. So when we want to publish results, we use Login VSI. That way, if a customer wants to repeat our results they can.”

Randy Groves, CTO at Teradici

Tony Reynolds - 23Technology

"As a cloud and virtualisation consultancy, 23Technology use Login VSI to prove the scalability of our paper designs for our customers. It has become an important part of our assurance process. In one instance, it helped us to successfully complete a project by showing that, with correctly configured anti-virus, the designed solution scaled to meet our client’s needs."
