I am trying to do a single VM test workload and the session launches, but never becomes active. Not sure where to go from here.

Jeff,

Have a look at this blog post by my colleague Tom. That might help you getting test going. Let us know if you need more help.

Jeff,

What platform are you targeting? VMware view, Citrix Xendesktop/Xenapp, etc?

Does the VMware View client actually start and do you see a user log on to a VM? If not, please remove the -nonInteractive parameter from the command line in the management console. You can find the command line under test setup > connection.

Your VMware View client command line is most likely the culprit here. Most common cause is the domain name. The VMware View client expects a NetBIOS domain name. Not a DNS domain name. If you are using a domain name like MyLab.local in the command line then try switching it to MyLab instead.
