Hello,
We have been encountering the error in the attached screen shot when trying to open our log files with Login VSI 4.1.3 Analyzer. This Analyzer worked fine for some time and then started to exhibit the error in the attached screen shot. When the error occurs, the analyzer is frozen and the only way to stop it is to kill the analyzer process in task manager.

We then began moving the log files to another VM running the same analyzer (and version of Login VSI). This worked for some time but then started exhibiting the same behavior.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Marty

This problem turned out to be a file size limitation for Access databases. The local cache database had grown to 2gb, which is the maximum for Access databases. By deleting the local cache database. The local cache database can be found at

%appdata%\vsi

. Deleting the VSILocalCache file should resolve the problem.

While you are trying to open an access database you might get a message saying Cannot Open database. I had faced this sort of problem quite often. In that case it can be fixed with the help of the third party software. I have used Access Repair tool. Using this software I was able to open the Access Database again. More importantly it is very user friendly.
