Hello

I have LoginVSI Express 4.1.4.2 and Citrix XenApp 7.6.3 with Citrix Storefront 3.0 and a Loadbalancer using Netscaler.
All Server running Windows Server 2008R2 SP1 with Hotfix Last week.
If I try to get the resource for a user with the SFConnect.exe command line, I get this Error:
Error gathering resources
Error authenticating: wrong username and password.

With the same username and password I am able to login and start a Desktop
What I am doing wrong?

I try different commands:

Netscaler LoadBalancer Addresse:
sfconnect.exe /url ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Store /user username /password Password /getresources

Storefront direct:
sfconnect.exe /url servername.domainname.local/Citrix/Store /user username /password Password /getresources

With DomainName

Netscaler LoadBalancer Addresse:
sfconnect.exe /url ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Store /user domain\username /password Password /getresources

Storefront direct:
sfconnect.exe /url servername.domainname.local/Citrix/Store /user doamin\username /password Password /getresources

Everytime I get the same response
[Date Time] Connecting to URL ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Store #depending on which Address I try this is used
[Date Time] got "unauthorizied" response, trying to authenticate
[Date Time] Getting token for ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Store/resource/v2
[Date Time] Getting token for ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Authentication/auth/v1/token
[Date Time] Using protocol ExplicitForms
[Date Time] Authenticationg user credentials
Error gathering resources
Error authenticating: wrong username or password

When I run the /getprotocols
I get:

[Date Time] Connecting to URL ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Store #depending on which Address I try this is used
[Date Time] got "unauthorizied" response, trying to authenticate
[Date Time] Getting token for ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Store/resource/v2
[Date Time] Getting token for ctxsf7.domainname.local/Citrix/Authentication/auth/v1/token

Header Script

Valid Protocols for this StoreFront site:
CitrixFederation
ExplicitForms
Error gathering resources
Error authenticating: wrong username or password

What else can I do?
Can you confirm LoginVSI is working with SF 3.0?

Hello,

i think when you work with Netscaler you must use a powershell script from Citrix.

blogs.citrix.com/2014/06/12/scripting-up...ted-with-storefront/

The Command line for Connection:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -File {VSISHARE}\_VSI_Binaries\Connectors\SFLauncher.ps1 -SiteURL "https://yoursite" -UserName {CSV_User} -Password {CSV_Password} -resource "your resource"

Greetings
Heiko

What our customers are saying

Tony Reynolds - 23Technology

"As a cloud and virtualisation consultancy, 23Technology use Login VSI to prove the scalability of our paper designs for our customers. It has become an important part of our assurance process. In one instance, it helped us to successfully complete a project by showing that, with correctly configured anti-virus, the designed solution scaled to meet our client’s needs."

Tony Reynolds, Technical Director at 23Technology

Chris Gebhardt - NetApp

“We use Login VSI to make sure that what we are recommending to our customers is much better than what their guesses are. Because if you don't do proper assessment and if you don’t use Login VSI, your architecture is just a guess.”

Chris Gebhardt, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at NetApp

Sajad Shah - Cancer Research

"Login VSI has empowered us to make more informed decisions on releasing a new vDisk which we now do on a monthly basis. We have found that Login VSI tests can also flag other issues in our environment that may not be picked up by our standard User Testing which allows us to either make the appropriate changes to the vDisk or workload script adjustments to run successful tests. This has given us peace of mind and allows us to release VDI’s with confidence."
