Helge created the topic: AutoIt Error in Line 5208
I got the following when trying to run a test:

AutoIt Error

Line 5208 (File "C:\Data\VSIShare\_VSI_Binaries\Launcher\Agent.exe"):

Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.

============================================================

This happens when I use RDPConnect.exe with a CSV file. When I uncheck the checkbox "use CSV file" I do not get an error.

Any advice?

Hello Helge,

Can you send me the data for the test that you used? Easiest way would be to zip the test's folder under \\server\vsishare\_VSI_LogFiles
The folder contains the settings of that test which allows us to replicate the exact same scenario.

Helge, Jingsu,

A bug in the launcher causes the launcher to generate this error when the CSV file contains exactly the amount of users being launched. I can reproduce this by running a test with a single session with a CSV file that looks like:
username,password
user1,pass1

As a workaround, add at least 1 extra line:
username,password
user1,pass1
user2,pass2

All,

The bug is localized, addressed and solved in the currently available patch (4.0.1 Patch).
The Patch can be found here; www.loginvsi.com/download

Regards,

Omar

With 4.0.1 I still get the error below when the number of entries in CSV file is equal to the number of user to be launched:

AutoIt Error
Line 5208 (File "\\SRV1\VSIShare\_VSI_Binaries\Launcher\Agent.exe"):

Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.

==================================

Notes:

I tried to launch only one session with a CSV file with the following content:

ComputerName,UserName
ts1,HK-Test1

As I found out when I added more entries to the file the first line with data ("ts1, ...") in the CSV file is ignored. The launcher always starts to launch the sessions with the data from the second line, then third, then fourth, ...
