Helge created the topic: Variables for command line
Which variables can be used in the command line? In the documentation I found:

{VSISHARE}
{server}
{domain}
{username}
{password}
{count}

Is that all? If not: where can I find a complete reference?

Hi Helge,

You found all of them, is this sufficient for your tests or is there something specific you are looking for ?

ps; If you need leading zeros you can use for example {count/3} for numbers like 001, 002, 003… 010 etc.

What I am really looking for is a way to distribute a set of users across several terminal servers (no Citrix, no load balancing). In version 3.7 I used a CSV file for this task that looked similar to this:

ServerName,UserName
ts1,user1
ts2,user2
ts3,user3
ts1,user4
ts2,user5
...

Since I am currently having trouble with the CSV file option I was looking at other ways of achieving my goal. Are there any?

Hi Helge,

Yes; CSV :)

Here's the proper example that will work for you.

Command line;

"{VSISHARE}\_VSI_Binaries\Connectors\RDPConnect.exe" /server %CSV_ServerName% /user %CSV_UserName% /password %CSV_UserPass% /nowarning

CSV file;

ServerName,UserName,UserPass,
TS1,VSI1,PASS1
...,...,...

Its working at my end. Curious if it’s the same at your end.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Omar
