Hi there,

I am attemping to use LoginVSI to create load on a XenApp 6.5 server that starts refusing connections after ~20 users have connected. The aim is that we can then perform a CDF trace and forward this to Citrix Support.

I have installed VSIshare and a separate Launcher on the Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 platform.

When the launcher logs into the target, Logon.cmd fails when it attemps to call VSI.exe. The error message is that C:\Users\LoginVSI1\AppData\Local\Temp\VSI\RunTime\VSI.exe cannot be found.

The file VSI.exe cannot be found inside the VSIshare (C:\VSIshare\_VSI_Binaries\Target). We have tried re-installing LoginVSI on different hosts with the same result.

Many Thanks,
Andy

Hello Rob,

Can you please share the installation log? The log file can be found in %temp%\vsi\log\VSI_Installer.log on the machine where you performed the installation.

You can contact us by email if you do not feel comfortable sharing the log publicly.

Hi Dennis,

Here is the install log from the install attempt on a different host. This log file is 9 MB.

I can send the install log from the first attempt to run the product. As this file is 39 MB I will attach it in a separate reply.

Regards,
Andy

This issue has been resolved. It was caused by an anti-virus solution removing the VSI executable from the embedded ZIP archive before the installation even started.
