Yinglong created the topic: Change workloads between tests
I completed a test with Medium workload, when I try to change the workload to Light for the next test, it doesn't seem to change. See attached screenshot. The workload is changed in "test setup" to Light, but still showing as Medium in "start test" page. Is there anywhere I can save the change? Thanks.

Hi Ying,

It does indeed not change the MMC/Dashboard (known bug). You can safely ignore this in the MMC/Dashboard.
The workloads selected from the pull-down menu will be performed in every session (see progress bar). Thanks,

Omar

Hi, Omar:
Is it correct the actual work load applied in the test sessions would be the one that in the test log file folder? ie. if the file "light.txt" in the log folder, the light workload will apply for the test?

Thank you

What our customers are saying

Todd Mace - PernixData

"Login VSI has been a great partner for us. Customers use PernixData with Login VSI to help validate their user experience. Login VSI helps to see what their performance bottlenecks are and our software helps to mediate some of that. Login VSI has been a kind of defacto standard to be able to help that validation and help the customer to be able to come up with a solution to fix it."

Todd Mace, Product Manager at PernixData

Andrew Mills - Nutanix

“Predictability is a key piece to VDI. It’s one of reasons that VDI has scared people away, but Login VSI solves that. If you’re going to do it, do it right. Login VSI really gives that rubber stamp on doing it right.”

Andrew Mills, VDI Alliances Manager at Nutanix

Michael Cooper - Citrix

"We use Login VSI as a level set. If we are looking at a system that we are putting on brand new hardware or that we are putting in the cloud, we may see those environments completely differently but the end result is: is the user going to have a good solid happy user experience? And what Login VSI provides us on all three platforms is fairly consistent apples-to-apples comparison: is the user happy?"

Michael Cooper, Director of Solutions Architecture and Global Alliances at Citrix Systems
