Adobe Reader XI "An internal error occured." error

I'm just wondering if anyone has faced this issue with Adobe Reader XI when using mount point (e.g. User Profile Disk) for the User folder? and if anyone has a workaround to allow for successful VSI workload execution?

The problem is that Adobe Reader is throwing "An internal error occured." error at launch blocking VSI execution. This happens when you redirect User folder or use a mount point/NTFS junction for the User profile.

Most likely the problem is related to the use of User Profile Disks on RD Session Host server.
Disabling safe mode in Adobe Reader is not a good idea for a multi-user environment.

As an alternative, you can use Foxit Reader (it's free without the use of plug-ins)
