Login VSI Version: Express
Test system: Citrix XenDesktop 7.1
Operating system version target: Windows 7 64-bit
Operating system version launcher: Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit
Office version target: Office 2013

Whenever I launch a test on my set of VMs, the run gets stuck fairly quickly with Word asking "Would you like to save?". I believe the box is not supposed to appear and LoginVSI keeps trying to exit Word. Because of this, Word is spamming popups with the following text:

"You cannot close Microsoft Word because a dialog box is open. Click OK, switch to Word, and then close the dialog box."

I was able to close move the main popup and reveal the following text:

"Want to save your changes to TimerDoc.doc?
If you click "Don't Save", a recent copy of this file will be temporarily available."
[Save] [Don't Save] [Cancel]

See attachments for detailed images.

How should I proceed? I assume there is a group policy or registry setting somewhere that maybe I can force Word to not ask to save documents on close?

Hello, was there a resolution to this thread? I've encountered a similar problem (different cause).

Hi Random,

Yes we did. Not sure if it will apply for your issue though.
However, can you summarize your cause, or similar problem?

Sure can Omar. The first dialogue box is something like "you need to have a volume license to use this product remotely" it's word, and then the next N dialogues are the same as described in this thread and the image attached to post #1.

This likely means that MS is not correctly activated and/or not Activated for VL (VDI/SBC) environments.
Here you go: www.google.com/search?btnG=1&pws=0&q=you...his+product+remotely
Again, the behaviour of MS Word is expected when it's not possible to modify it since it has other popups (like key license questions and/or popups).

Let me know what you think and/or solution.
