Hi

I have 400 desktops across 2 ESXi machines with naming as follows:

W7-Pool21-001
W7-Pool21-002
...
...
W7-Pool21-199
W7-Pool21-200
W7-Pool22-001
W7-Pool22-002
...
...
W7-Pool22-199
W7-Pool22-200

As per my understanding, we can only mention patterns like "W7-Pool21-{count/3} in the server (RD session host)) option during the connection wizard. In that case, how can I supply all of my above 400 desktops in the RD session host?

Ofcourse if I deploy a desktop pool with names W7-Pool21-001 to W7-Pool21-400 the issue is resolved. However, I want to retain my existing naming scheme.

Hello,

A using a CSV would solve that. Using a CSV file you can replace pretty much anything in the commandline or even the entire command line. See www.loginvsi.com/documentation/Using_a_CSV_file , please note that this page is still a work in progress but it should describe how to use a CSV file.

Even tried using %CSV_username% and %CSV_resource% in the connection command line.

This was solved over email. The CSV file used had an empty line on line 2.
