Hi,

I run into this error during test execution, "Line 10592 (File "C"\Users\LoingVSI1\AppData\Local\Temp\7\VSI\Run Time\VSI.exe"): Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded"

Any comment on this, is it due to misconfiguration or wrong parameter? Im using express 4.011.500 version running on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. My target is running on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.

Thank you.

Regards,
Kevin

Kevin,

Please send us the raw data for this test. You can find the raw data for this test in the VSIshare under _VSI_Logfiles. Zip the entire folder that corresponds to this test and send it to us. You can use the contact form here to open a support ticket if you do not want to upload the data to the forum.

Kevin,

You are missing a data server definition. Please go to the management console and make sure there is at least 1 entry under infrastructure > data servers.

Hello Kevin,

Apart from the Dataserver beeing missing everything looks fine, have you tried to run a test with the new Dataserver? If so how did it go?

Hello Kevin,

When you log in a session with a VSI user and the Logon script has run can you check if in the %temp% directory there is a folder named VSI ? I am asking this because when i see the path "\Users\LoingVSI1\AppData\Local\Temp\7\VSI\Run Time\VSI.exe" it has the number 7 between temp and VSI. I have seen issues with environments that have this as well.

Please let me know if the VSI folder exists and if this folder contains the Runtime folder and this contains the VSI.exe.

Hello Kevinwan,

I would like to suggest you reinstall Login VSI, and or upgrade to our latest RC2 version. I have seen in some cases that this removes the issue.

If you do not want this or this does not fixes the problem i would then like to setup a quick gotomeeting session with you to figure out what the issue might be. Please mail us at support@loginVSI.com with your prefferd time and timezone so we can setup a meeting.

Let me know what you want to do.

Hi Tom,

Seem the problem is gone, but a new issue pop out.
"Could not create array of ActiveTest files in VSIShare. Login VSI will stop executing."

For your information, I'm running both servers on ESXi 5.1. Hope this will help in any way.

Regards,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,

"Could not create array of ActiveTest files in VSIShare. Login VSI will stop executing." suggest the session could not reach the VSIshare or you do not have the correct permissions to the VSIshare. Can you check if the users have modify permissions on the share with NTFS and Share security. Please see link:

www.loginvsi.com/documentation/Requireme...VSIshare_Permissions

What did you do that fixed the previous problem?

yours colleague follow me on the situation and for me the solution was:

Set on the Workload\Engine Start Up --> Chained

and load the file for the Italian language (office 2013 in my case) :)
