Microsoft MVP Award for Login VSI Team Member Adam Carter

Microsoft MVP Award for Login VSI Team Member: Adam Carter

We are very proud to announce that a valued member of our team, Product Manager Adam Carter (@adambomb00), has been awarded with the Microsoft MVP status for his contributions to the Microsoft community. Adam is the second member of the Login VSI team to receive this prestigious award. Ryan Bijkerk’s (@Logitblog) MVP status, who already received a Microsoft MVP award in 2015, has been renewed in the “Windows and Devices for IT” category.

People that are MVPs are some of the best and the most respected in the industry. We are honored that two members of Login VSI are now part of the elite MVP community. Login VSI is recognized as a thought leader in the VDI and Microsoft RDS space, and this additional award is a reflection of the company’s contribution to the industry.

Microsoft MVP Program

The MVP program is a way to recognize the most important members of the IT community that work with and actively promote Microsoft products. There are over 4,000 active MVPs around the world (ranging from Sharepoint to Xbox) and the membership is re-evaluated each year. Adam was selected for his work in Enterprise Mobility and recognized for his contributions since joining Login VSI.

Adam worked at Microsoft for 16 years, including work as the Technical Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft RDS and VDI through the Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 releases. While working for Login VSI he continued to be a contributing member of the community. Besides working on the software development of the pro-active monitoring product Login PI, Adam also contributed by interviewing over 30 industry experts about the trends in the VDI market at Microsoft Ignite and Citrix Synergy.

Adam: “it’s an honor to be recognized, and I’m really looking forward to meeting directly with the engineers and product teams at the MVP Global Summit in November. I am also very excited to join the community of MVPs to interact with them virtually and via events”.

While the MVP status opens new channels, Adam’s will continue to contribute to the community as he has done with Login VSI. He sees the most opportunities to write, blog and speak about Microsoft technology (including Azure RemoteApp) in combination with Login VSI’s products. Stay tuned to hear more from Adam!

Windows 10 – 1909 performance results and a look ahead at 2004

But most organizations today are not going to implement this new version right away. Market research by VDI Like a Pro shows that most enterprises today are running Windows 10 1803, or 1809. We have seen requests range from the quality of the remote user-experience to the ability of their VPN to handle the throughput of a large volume of concurrent connections. Continue Reading
