This new module allows performance testers to objectively measure and analyze the performance of remoting protocols such as VMware PCoIP, Citrix ICA/HDX, Microsoft RDP, Quest EOP and others.
Frank Anderson (@FrankCAnderson) performed protocol tests to compare Citrix XenDesktop 5.5 (HDX) with VMware View 5 (PCoIP) and used Login VSI to generate a medium user workload. Both LAN and WAN scenarios were tested by measuring the bandwidth consumption and frame rate statistics.
