Login VSI Announces New Hydra Feature to Support Hybrid Deployment of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
Boston, MA – November 18, 2025 – Login VSI, a leader in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and cloud automation solutions, today announced a new feature for Hydra that will enable support for Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop for hybrid environments. This feature, unveiled at Microsoft Ignite 2025, allows Hydra to bridge the gap between legacy on-premises VDI solutions and the cloud, making Azure Virtual Desktop accessible to enterprises using private cloud and on-premises hypervisors such as Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, and VMware vSphere.
Hydra will integrate Azure Arc to extend the benefits of Azure Virtual Desktop to a broader range of enterprise infrastructures. By integrating with hypervisors commonly used in on-premises private cloud setups, Hydra will enable seamless management of these environments alongside Azure Virtual Desktop virtual machines (VMs), all within a unified framework. This new capability extends hybrid deployment capabilities for Azure Virtual Desktop beyond those available through Azure Virtual Desktop for Azure Local.
