Workspace Weekly: Easier Operations at Scale in Login Enterprise 6.6
May 6, 2026
Login Enterprise 6.6 includes several updates that make the platform easier to operate, maintain, and align with enterprise environments.
This week’s Workspace Weekly focuses on three improvements that help teams reduce manual work and keep Login Enterprise easier to manage over time: Launcher updates from the UI and Public API, centralized Windows 365 Connector script management, and SAML support for single sign-on.
For the complete list of features, improvements, and fixes, see the release notes.
Update Login Enterprise Launchers from the UI or Public API
Launchers are critical to Login Enterprise testing. They initiate sessions, connect to target environments, and help represent the locations and endpoints your users depend on.
But in larger environments, keeping Launchers updated can become a manual task. If you have Launchers spread across locations, teams, or environments, updating each machine one by one takes time and creates operational friction.
In Login Enterprise 6.6, Windows-based Launchers can be updated directly from the Login Enterprise UI or through the Public API. You can select one or more Launchers from the table and update them. You can also hover over the update status icon for a Launcher and update it directly from the tooltip.
The update flow also helps make the current state clear. A Launcher may already be up to date, have an update available, show a failed update attempt, or be blocked from updating because it is offline, running active sessions, or still on an older version.
One important note: this new update method requires the Launcher to be already running version 6.6 or higher. Launchers on 6.5 or older still need one final manual update before the new update experience becomes available.
For more information, refer to Configuring the Windows Launcher.

Centralized Windows 365 Connector Script Management in Login Enterprise 6.6
Windows 365 testing depends on the Windows App, and the Windows App can change over time. When the sign-in or connection flow changes, the automation that drives that flow may need to change too.
Imagine you are running Windows 365 tests, and a Windows App update changes part of the connection experience. Without central script management, you may have to track down which script is in use, where it lives, and how to update it without breaking the rest of your testing workflow.
Login Enterprise 6.6 helps by managing Windows 365 Connector scripts centrally. Login Enterprise includes built-in scripts for common Windows App versions and can use version information to select the right script. If your environment needs different behavior, you can provide a custom script through the Public API.
The value is: Windows 365 testing becomes easier to maintain as the Windows App evolves.

SAML Single Sign-On Support in Login Enterprise 6.6
Login Enterprise 6.6 also expands single sign-on support with SAML.
Many organizations already standardize access through enterprise identity providers. Adding SAML support gives teams more flexibility when aligning Login Enterprise with existing authentication policies, MFA requirements, and identity provider standards.
Login Enterprise now supports SAML-based SSO in addition to OpenID Connect. Authentication is handled by the external identity provider, while Login Enterprise continues to use LDAP for authorization and role assignment.
That separation matters. Users can sign in through the organization’s SSO flow, while access inside Login Enterprise still maps back to the roles and permissions already configured through LDAP.
For more information, refer to: Configuring Authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), Configuring SAML, & Configuring OpenID Connect (OIDC).

Ready to get started using 6.6?
Upgrade your appliance and launchers, then use the documentation above to start rolling these operational improvements into your Login Enterprise environment.
To set up a new appliance or update an existing one, go to Downloads. If your Appliance already exists and is internet-connected, follow Updating Login Enterprise, which has additional update steps. Don’t forget to take a snapshot first.
As always, we appreciate your feedback and use your insights to make Login Enterprise better for you.
