Workspace Weekly: New Login Enterprise Power BI Template
July 22, 2025
This week, we are excited to share a major upgrade to the Login Enterprise Power BI Connector. Say hello to a ready-to-go preview Power BI template that transforms your data into a sleek, interactive dashboard in just moments.
Special shoutout to Matt Schmitt, our Senior Solutions Engineer, for leading this effort and making it happen.
This upgrade is designed for both business folks and engineers, with the new template combining Login Enterprise metrics with Power BI’s visualization and modeling features. No fuss, no complex setups are needed.
The Challenge
Many companies use Login Enterprise to monitor endpoint performance and EUX scores. But when they try to mix those with ticket volumes, capacity plans, or financial data, they often must export CSV files and manually mash everything together. Slowing decision making and creating friction when trying to get real-time insights that teams can rely on.
Our Solution: Power BI Template
Now, all you need is Power BI Desktop, the Login Enterprise connector, the new Power BI template for Login Enterprise, and your API token. No need to do any intricate modeling or build visuals from scratch. Just load the template, pop in your Login Enterprise URL and API key, pick your desired timeframe (1, 3, 7, 30, 60, or 90 days), and watch your report come to life.

Here’s what you get with the template:
- A summary dashboard showing total test runs, success rates, EUX score trends, and test type breakdowns.
- Dedicated pages for continuous testing, load testing, and application testing, ideal for long-term tracking, stress testing, and pre-deploy checks.
- Session metrics and apps overview so you can compare performance across resources and spot trends.
- EUX and login metrics pages that help you identify user experience snags and login speed issues.
All under the hood, the template boasts a solid data model with pre-set relationships, so there is no manual joins or schema fiddling. You can start slicing data, creating custom measures, or tweaking visuals right away to match your key performance indicators.
Or do nothing at all since the template is designed to work as is, delivering enormous value!
Unlocking Immediate Value
With this template, you can:
- Combine endpoint data with ticket numbers and costs to evaluate ROI.
- Set up live dashboards on office TVs for real-time monitoring.
- Enable remote IT teams to access reports anytime, anywhere.
- Craft stakeholder-friendly SLA reports with your branded visuals in minutes.
This upgrade supports organizations cross-functionally, for example, finance teams can connect test results directly to ticket costs for detailed ROI analysis. Capacity planners can overlay EUX trends with hardware upgrades to see their real impact.
Imagine an EUC manager starting their day with a quick glance at a Power BI wall display or an IT director downloading a branded SLA summary before an executive meeting; all these insights are powered by this template.
Since it’s fully pre-configured, there’s no need to spend time customizing views or visuals. Just set and go. Plus, keep your reports up to date without manual updates, with scheduled refreshes via an on-premises gateway.
Getting Started
- Download the connector (.mez) and template (.pbit) from our GitHub.
- Install: Drop the connector file into your Power BI Custom Connectors folder and enable extensions via File > Options > Security > Data Extensions.
- Stay tuned for Microsoft certification of the Login Enterprise and Power BI integrating-connector (which will make this step unnecessary); they’re under maintenance now, but we’ll be sure to get that rolling once back up!
- Load the Template: Open the Template file in Power BI Desktop (just double-click on your computer that has Power BI installed).
- Authenticate: Enter your Login Enterprise name, your token, select your date range, and load up your report.
From there, you can personalize visuals, create new measures, or add external data sources like CRM or monitoring tools, making the report truly fit your evolving needs.
Give It a Try!
That’s all for this edition of Workspace Weekly. Download the template, test it out, and let us know what insights you discover. If you customize it or build new visuals, share your work in our Slack. We’re eager to see innovative ways you use it!
If you have any feedback, please leave it at the Portal!
