Workspace Weekly: What’s new in Login Enterprise 6.2.5

August 27, 2025

This week, Workspace Weekly highlights the newest Login Enterprise update. Version 6.2.5 focuses on clearer visibility, tighter control, and more realistic testing so teams can troubleshoot faster, protect access, and measure what truly matters.

For the complete list of changes, improvements, and fixes, check the official Release Notes.

Surface custom connector events directly in the UI

What’s the value of this feature? Faster root-cause analysis and fewer context switches.
You can now emit custom events from connector scripts and see them in the same Events feed as standard Launcher events.

This feature lets you tag checkpoints, warn on edge conditions, or log custom errors with an accurate session ID and timestamp, all inside the Appliance. Teams no longer need to jump between external launcher logs and Login Enterprise to trace what happened in a session.

  • What shows up: timestamp, session ID, and your message
  • Where to see it: Events tab for a test run, Launcher logs, and the Events section of the Appliance UI
  • When to use it: branching logic, health checks, and connector-specific diagnostics

Assign roles to Applications for cleaner, safer collaboration

What’s the value of this feature? Least-privilege access and clear ownership.
Admins can now assign roles to Applications and Application Groups so only the right users can view or manage them. This brings edits and governance to large teams, reduces accidental edits, and supports separation of duties without slowing people down. Update access directly in the Application configuration or from the Roles UI.

Test Citrix published apps in Seamless Mode

What’s the value of this feature? Results that match what actual users experience.
Running published apps in Seamless Mode through StoreFront or NetScaler aligns testing with Citrix guidance and modern LTSR behavior. You get more realistic performance signals and more trustworthy comparisons. This requires Launcher 6.2 or later.
