This week’s Workspace Weekly spotlights the Login Enterprise 6.5 release. For the complete list of changes, improvements, and fixes, check out our official Release Notes for Login Enterprise 6.5.
Windows 365 Connector: Continuous testing for Cloud PCs, without the manual clicks
Windows 365 is becoming a core part of many EUC strategies, but validating Cloud PC user experience at scale can still involve too much manual effort. In 6.5, the new Windows 365 Connector enables automated testing of Windows 365 Cloud PCs through the Windows App, allowing teams to turn Cloud PC access and app workflows into repeatable Application and Continuous Tests.
This makes it easier to spot issues early, such as authentication friction, slow connections, or app launch slowdowns, and to prove whether a change improved or degraded the experience. It also helps teams scale testing across large user bases and organizational units without turning session management into a full-time job.

Windows App Recorder revamp: Faster recording, stronger scripts, fewer reruns
If you use WinApp scripting to validate real user workflows, you know the pain: one small UI change can break a recording and turn a quick test into rework. In 6.5, the WinApp Recorder has been revamped with a new UI automation backend and improved locator generation, making recordings more reliable and faster to iterate on.
The big win is confidence. You spend less time babysitting scripts and more time using them to catch regressions before users do. It also helps teams standardize how they record and maintain scripts, which is huge when multiple people are building workloads across the same app portfolio.

ACL on Launchers and Launcher Groups: Better control, cleaner resource ownership
As more teams share the same Login Enterprise environment, access control becomes more than an admin checkbox. In 6.5, you can apply ACLs to Launchers and Launcher Groups, so teams only see and use the launchers intended for them.
This supports clearer ownership, helps reduce resource contention between teams, and improves security posture by limiting visibility into infrastructure details. It is also a practical step toward running multiple internal groups, or even multiple customers, in the same environment with fewer operational risks.

Application Test PDF Reports: Add your own summary text, and generate reports via API
Reports are most useful when they include context. In 6.5, Application Test PDF reports now support custom text, allowing you to add a short management summary, scope notes, or conclusions at the beginning of the report.
This is great for sharing results with stakeholders who want the “so what” without digging through charts first. It also makes reports more reusable for audit trails, change reviews, and customer updates.
Version 6.5 also expands automation options for reporting. You can generate and download Application Test PDF reports via the Public API, including multi-run comparison-style reports. This helps teams integrate Login Enterprise reporting into existing pipelines and operational workflows.
