Tuning your server for maximum capacity and performance for the AVD on Azure Local solution using AMD EPYC ™ 9004 Series processors can increase user productivity and reduce cost. The guide provides insights into configuring BIOS tuning parameters, Hyper-V tuning parameters and best practices for achieving the best performance from the system. A two-socket platform with AMD EPYC™ 9554 processors can accommodate approximately 588 virtual users, while the AMD EPYC™ 9654 platform supports around 727 users, averaging three to four virtual users per physical core maintaining a very strong EUX Score.
